Update: March 15th, 2016 – I’ll soon be on the move. I’m relocating from Sarasota, FL to Port Wentworth, GA – a suburb of Savannah.
Most recently I have been very pleased with the number of page views that the Japanese TV Series Atelier have received. The show airs on Netflix here in the USA and I published my review of the series on Christmas Eve – 2015. In less than three months, this post has garnered in excess of 10,000 page views – a very surprising number.
At the moment, Atelier is my 3rd most viewed post, trailing the post I did on the Danish TV production Dicte 20,000 + views), and the post I wrote about Japanese actress Aya Takanashi = which has been viewed more than 34,000 times.
I’m going to write about Art, Movies, Travel, TV Dramas – stuff I like, and I think this is stuff you like too and these all require some thought and some artistry. I’m not writing just for men – I know women can get their minds around some of this too. I won’t talk about me shopping or my own cooking…(but I will review films about chefs and/or restaurants) even though I will acknowledge that these activities (shopping and cooking) are necessary for my own survival as well as the advancement of civilization. Nor will I have much to say about sports except if the vectors of their paths happen to cross with some of the topics I’ve already mentioned. But hey, you always need to draw the line someplace.
Sports have crept into play – particular for the NY Rangers and their appearance in the Stanley Cup competition. Maybe there will be some additional coverage for the Summer Olympics coming to us from Rio this July.
Last time I checked we were writing our 965th post. And we are approaching 600,000 page views.
I added the search function awhile back but it was hidden in a deep dark recess of the blog. But that has been corrected. Now to find the search – by clicking on any one specific post – that will bring up a menu on the right side. The search feature is at the top of the menu. Now search feature works fine if you want to just quickly check to see if a certain topic has been covered. But if you like to scroll, and discover what there is – you can still do that.
Comments of course right here on the blog are appreciated and welcomed.
